* Ilheus Aiport (IOS Jorge Amado Local Airport) is the closer airport. Airlines GOL and Tam have daily flights from Salvador, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia and Belo Horizonte. Azul and TRIP also provide flights few days a week.
From Ilheus to Itacaré :
By Bus: take a cab and go to the main bus station in Ilheus.Than you can take a bus that leaves every hour to Itacaré (Cia Rota). Trip takes 1h40m and costs about R$ 11,00. When you arrive in Itacaré you can take a cab till here, it will take about 7 minutes. Walking it will take 30 minutes.
By Car : We offer in & out transfer service (licensed and authorized drivers) from Ilhéus airport/ Sage Point Pousada / Ilhéus airport, to book you just have to send us your flight details. Check our rates.
Rent a car: You also can rent a car in the Airport and drive on BA -001 Road heading north to Itacaré. When entering the city please go to Pituba Street direction, drive until the end of Pituba Street and go to Tiririca´s beach on right corner of the beach.
* You also can come from Salvador (SSA Luis Eduardo Magalhaes International Airport) You can take a domestic flight to Ilheus.
Salvador to Itacaré:
By Bus: take a cab to the Ferry Boat (it is a long way, you´ll have to cross the city) and take the ferry boat and cross to Itaparica Island (Bom Despacho). At the other side, at the same terminal you take a bus to Itacaré. Trip takes 6 hours and coast R$ 35,00. When you arrive in Itacaré you can take a cab till here, it will take about 7 minutes. Walking it will take 30 minutes.
